The Carps, from my illustrious hometown of Scarborough, Ontario, do exactly that here. Fusing sorta-psychedelic rock with R&B, hip-hop and the bassy bounce of a club beat, this two-man act, most specifically on All the Damn Kids but also on Compton to Scarboro, gets my head nodding and my body moving.
