- - Hot Corner The still fresh and full of ideas producer and Hot Corner owner is John Pussner. With a recent hit amongst the hipster crowds with Octopussies Don’t skip that he is also featured in this array of mature, party esque and funky soulful sounds that cover the genre spectrum with electronic in mind. The graceful and comfortable lo fi samples and wacky sounds sum up some of the quality of music you’ll about to encounter. All the artists have some form of creative background, piano, guitar but all hold the same mindset of quality production with John Pussner behind the helm to make sure it all sounds just right. Danny Decock’s Mosca takes you on a journey through the slick sounds of jazz filled with heavy percussive moments to guide you through the thick elements of jive on this relaxing excursion. Another one of Danny’s head turning tracks is Action Man. The 30’s styled swing track packs in the TV samples and sounds capes from various eras. Sweet horns blow fiercely in the background solidifying the tracks presence. Turning now to the turntablism styles of Blockboy’s many production qualities we get to hear a dramatic and also strange collection of dark noises, Like A Bear’s key arrangements and dreamy sequences are brought into one bumping track alongside gentle turntable scratching. The excitable Mika Krogen displays his talents on Hitzefrei In Der Schule Der Liebe. A multi variating track filled with electro, break beats and wild synth pad variations.
