Vinyl Life
Vinyl Life

NYC’s Vinyl Life inject some comical relief, dare I say gangster geek? In the over abundance of electro pop bands trying these white rappers dish out a bit of Beastie Boys attitude. But in all honesty this music is starting to take its toll on the clubbers and Dj’s who turn this stuff out on a nightly basis. Most of this is like taking 2 Unlimited and MSTRKRFT and putting it in a blender. Nobody needs that mush in their ears. Although I can hear some differences in Vinyl Life’s but in the end it still seems regurgitated like all the rest. Hopefully the next album will have a more matured sound and these boys will find their actual niche in the ever growing market of musical genres. Oxide - www.vinyllife.com
