Frankie Knuckles
Motivation Too

As one of the few founders of the genre of house Frankie Knuckles continues to broadcast his pleasurable sound of gospel and loose grooved happy house for all to enjoy. NYC born he kept the helm of the Warehouse in Chicago for years to come but took on the production and remix stance before returning to full time DJ and music production again. Frankie Knuckles has won the world over time and time again with his DJ sets and remixes. On Motivation Too we get to hear a combination of classic favorites and what’s been burning a hole in Frankie Knuckles crates. G Club featuring Haze "Faith" is one of those seminal tracks that can wind up a crowds energy and deliver a soul fueled song with so much more than just a beat to dance to. Grand High Priest featuring Dajae "Mary Mary" encompasses that afro soul groove with a bumping groove you cannot deny but to dance and have a good time. With so many great artists it’s hard to pack in all the favorites but I think Frankie Knuckles hit it right with all the tracks featured here. [Oxide] - www.nervousnyc.com
