Miguel Migs
Get Salted Volume 2

Its been four years since the last Salted compilation and also previous to that his Those Things (and remixed album) album so Miguel Migs has been busy combing the tracks to compile this offering he presents to you today. With so much great music from the Salted catalogue plus all the artists he’s worked with in the past it wasn’t difficult to gather music for Get Salted Volume 2. The music goes through the souldful diva vocals and some futuristic funky disco gems. Miguel Migs hails from San Francisco but seems to be out on the road alot promoting his studio works and DJ’ing. The music here is perfect for the travels as it gathers up some wonderful tracks to bump along to. Nathan G "88 Keys To Love" is just that type of track to get you moving along. The bouncy keys drive the kick drums and vocals into a whirlwind of groovy elements. Turning to the deep side Fred Everything provides the essence for a safe trip. Featuring Tortured Soul on "He’s Lying To You" takes you on a wonderful journey of dubbed out house with a funky disco groove. A newly found artist with several fantastic productiosn is Lovebirds. Something about their compassion towards the instrumentation in their songs brings out a beautiful work of art that not many artists can obtain. "Love On My Hands" is a great example of that craftsmanship. Miguel Migs adds a lot of his works in here as well which binds the mix together very well and gives it that final touch of class that everybody should capture. [Oxide] - www.saltedmusic.com
