Heralded as a Greek influenced electronic/pop band the lead singer, Dioni hails from Australia while the band mates, P. Dreamweaver, Stathis & George are all Grecian. Going back 3 years ago their Name Your Slippers album brought them world wide attention while performing alongside groups such as Faithless, Chemical Brothers, Soft Cell, Covenant and many more. Forward to today and they have arrived with an album that covers a wide spectrum of electronic dance, trip hop, poppy energy and loungey grooves. While listening to all the harmonies and instrumentation on this album it dawns on me that without the electronic backgrounds this could also be a wonderful acoustic album. Since Dioni vocals cover so many styles it would be wonderful to hear her and the band live. There is a small taste of just that on their Myspace page, the live Recording at cineTRIANON is a wonderful showcase of their talents. Since the creativity is so wide here with skillful writing and compositins this will garner a wide audience with so much to enjoy and hoping they will return to Canada again to perform.
