Joćo Orecchia
Hands & Feet
born from a family that immigrated from Rom to New York Joćo Orecchia musical background comes from memories of his father and dreams to be in a band from an early age. With so much emotional attached and also album title creation Joćo Orecchia has amalgamated with friends to record Hands & Feet. The sounds are original; the opening track defies most by combing a vocal similar to Frank Sinatra and adding it to a sporadic electronic background but with a refined structure like Vitamins for You. Odd combination yes, but listening to it and soaking up the emotional attachments involved you’ll
greet it with an open mind and ears follow. A lot of the album has a curious array of bleepy minimal electronic over odd backgrounds and instruments alike. Obviously a fan of groups like the Cure and Beck you can hear the subtle nuances that they used to arrange vocals and music to create capture the audiences. Throughout the album you’ll discover and be lead through soft and mellow transitions while guided through more up-tempo indie rock efforts but no matter where you are there is cohesion in each song and a defining meaning behind the lyrics.
