7L & Esoteric
Moment Of Rarities

Dont write this off as one of those albums between albums or a contract filler release, because Moment Of Rarities collects tracks that were left on the cutting room floor but actually SHOULD have made the grade. At least thats the story that Babygrande Records is selling. What you might find though, is that while many of the songs presented here (some recorded as far back as 1995) match or at least rival the Boston duos output to date, others like Cobra and Olde English felt the wrath of the chopping block for good reason. 7L & Esoteric impress with hardcore (dont mistake it for gangsta) jams like Knockout and the inspired posse cut Gods Angry Men (featuring Mr. Lif, Akrobatik and Karma), while the Star Wars-sampling Lurkers At The Threshold will make you wonder how it ever got left behind in the first place.
