Snagged my ear on some crunk ghetto shit a couple of days ago. Followed a link some cat sent me, and finally got to hear OK COBRA. Overzealous capitalization aside, the local rap duo are packin' gritty production flavour, solid raps and a dope loop-driven sound. You know the style - sounds like random, off-time strumming on an acoustic guitar, until a monster kick drum and snare locks in and, all at once, the beat suddenly makes sense.
