ETERNIA - It's Called Life

While calling Eternia Canada's best female MC might be easy considering no other ladies have stepped up proper, there's no denying the skills this T-dot Juno-nominee possesses. The album's title explains her subject, naming song titles overtly about the love, hate, friends, family and work that fills up her life. Whether it's the palpable venom of Hate, or the, uh, inspiring Inspiration (that she rides over a hot Simahlak-produced beat), It's Called Life comes across like the diary you wish you'd written. Though, judging from her tough flow, you're probably getting smacked for reading it. That said, I prefer when she abandons the personal narrative and just rips mics, like on Bang or Struggle, with Wordsworth and Kenn Starr.
